Welcome to Pitter Patter Chinchillas! My name is Catherine Gregory and I am a small hobby breeder of high quality chinchillas. I am also a Graduate Student at Eastern Washington University. Chinchillas have been a part of my life in 1997, and came into our home in 1999. Since 2000, we have been breeding, but in 2007, we chose to take a break, but kept a few chinchillas because I just can’t say goodbye to everyone. To see who’s currently at our home, please visit the “our herd” page. Owning a chinchilla can be a wonderful and positive experience, but breeding must be done with caution and precision.
The bloodlines in our chinchillas can be traced to several different ranches, which adds diversity to the breeding herd, and gave me many animals to work with. Chinchillas live a relatively long time, so their overall health and well-being is key.

When a chinchilla leaves our home, I am confident that the chinchilla is going to a home filled with love for their new pet. I am always willing to help my owners in any way I can for many years to come. My breeding efforts are not taken lightly, and therefore I can provide my owners with knowledgeable information to help provide their new pet with the best home they can have.
Each chinchilla is held on a regular basis by either myself or a member of my family. This ensures my chinchillas stay friendly and sociable. I hold all my babies from day one to help show them the world of humans, making a more friendly animal.
If you would like more information on the care or my breeding of chinchillas, please feel free to email me and we will call you back. We regret to inform you that we are no longer publishing our phone number, due to unsolicited calls. We are, however, very quick on getting back to our emails and will gladly send you our phone number via an email or call you back!
